From woodworking projects with his grandfather and constructing entire homes, to teaching log homebuilding courses and running his own cabinetry business, carpentry is deeply ingrained in his life. It’s no wonder a career in estimating came naturally to him. When he’s not immersed in construction, Garth can be found playing the piano and guitar, mystifying audiences with his musical mastery. Architectural Designer/Estimator/IT

Creativity and technical proficiency are integral to Jason’s design approach. As a graduate from NAIT’s Architectural Technology program, he combines artistry with analytical thought to create floorplans and 3D models. And with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta, his business savvy is vital to Aquarian’s permit application process, IT and networking. When he’s not visualizing his next Aquarian project, he’s creating T-shirt designs at his own clothing company, Filthy Casual. The brand is inspired by geek culture, often giving Jason the opportunity to travel across North America and network with his biggest gaming heroes.

Site Supervisor/Warranty

Jim focuses on more than building well-crafted homes—he creates trust and rapport with clients. Throughout each project, he provides open communication, clear on-site direction and prompt warranty follow-ups. At a young age, Jim began constructing pre-fabricated houses, which led him to earn his journeyman ticket, teach a college course and eventually call Aquarian his new home. As an active-living enthusiast, Jim loves travelling with family, playing curling and volunteering. He hopes to retire in great physical shape, so he can make the most of every moment with his wife, kids and grandkids.

He has been with Aquarian for three years, studying at NAIT’s Apprenticeship Training program all throughout. To Kevin, each day at work presents new and interesting challenges—it’s why he loves his job so much. Naturally, one of his biggest dreams is to build his own house on an acreage. That is, after he globe-trots to sunny destinations like Thailand, Italy, Greece and Croatia.

In every sense, Marie embodies purposeful and empathetic leadership.
